Re: Baseball, show your loyality

Growing up I was a Tigers fan. Still am. When we moved to southwestern Michigan I couldn't find Tiger's games on the radio, I miss hearing Ernie call games. I morphed into a Cubs fan. I also like the Royals, Rangers, Pirates and Dodgers. I've lost a lot of love for the game but have been slowly gett...

Re: Ammo Dump 2012

One glaring mistake also to me (unless I missed something recently) was they had Spider-man talking to Captain America and Ms. Marvel without his mask on. Maybe Cap knows who he is, but isn't he back to very few people knowing who he is? I'm pretty sure Ms. Marvel isn't one of them. But there he is...

Re: Ammo Dump 2012

I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will suggest giving the new Hawkeye and Captain Marvel titles a try. If you're into fantasy settings try Pathfinder from Dynamite. It's based on the rpg by Paizo, written by Jim Zub of Skullkickers. Its what the D & D comics at IDW should be. I read the ne...

Re: A Question for us geeks....

This is a good, sobering question. I have a full run of Uncanny X-men, and the wife and I had a blast collecting it. So, I'd rebuild that. All of my original art, I'd just cry over and move on. As for my trades and other comics, I'd recollect them as I wanted to re-read them. I may or may not try t...

Re: A Question for us geeks....

I would let my comic collection go. I just wouldn't have the heart to go through rebuilding it. would you get a couple of your favorite stories in trade form? would you buy new comics? Just curious... I have almost complete runs FF, Hulk, Avengers and Amazing Spider-Man from 1975 to 1983. If I lost...

Re: Your All Time Characters of All Time

This one is hard. It's hard seperating a team and characters portrayed by your favorite actors/actresses. So right now at this very moment, these are my favorite characters Optimus Prime Spider-Man Goku Spike Spiegel Mirumoto Hitomi (Legend of the Five Rings) Lylyth Voassyr (Iron Kingdoms - Hordes) ...

Re: Episode 75 - Sucking Up to the Listeners

Good episode gents, you should do this more often in some fashion or another. I had some of those Dukes of Hazard toys, I remember them well and one of them did get chewed up by our dog Bandit. Hmmmm....it makes sense now. Mustard > ketchup At breakfast bacon over canadian bacon. But as a pizza topp...

Re: Transformers News Thread 2012 Edition

Yep, I got Dirge from my little brother. he wasn't into Transformers much. Whenever he would get one for his birthday or Christmas he would offer it to me for cash or a trade.

Re: Episode 75 - Sucking Up to the Listeners

My little brother was into those more than GI Joe, Transformers, MotU, more than anything I can think of except for maybe MASK. He always gravitated to toys that had a rescue crew or outdoors adventure type stuff. He's all grown up to be an EMT, firefighter and does reserve work with the DNR and som...

I can't remember, we're Hot rod and Rodimus the same character in the toy line, like in the cartoon?

I'm really digging Rodimus in More Than Meets the Eye.

Re: Episode 75 - Sucking Up to the Listeners

You guys just haven't found the "right" mustard yet. There are so many different types and flavors out there. I used to hate mustard until I tried some honey ale homemade stuff at a local summer festival back when I was 10 or 11 years old. I bought two jars and kept a steady supply of soft...

Re: Transformers News Thread 2012 Edition

Thank you Ryan. I worked my butt off for those, had a paper route, mowed lawns, did clean-up work for my uncle's dry wall business on and worked for a caterer that was friend with my grandparents. I had a paper route too, I hated it. I was able to buy some Joe Comics and a Nintendo, yep an NES. Not...

Re: Transformers News Thread 2012 Edition

New to the forums, so I’m going to catch up on this thread in one big go. Even though I have enjoyed almost every version of Transformers, I agree with Chuck, G1 all the way baby! I gave Beast Wars a good effort when it originally aired to try and like it but I couldn’t, and after watching it with m...
