I'd absolutely recomend the Hitchhiker's guid to the galaxy, it's brilliant and funny. I also love Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, even though there is not a lot of emphasis placed on the science fiction aspect of it. I'm currently reading the book thief (again). It's pretty good, but probably not one of my favourites (even though I love the idea of having it narrated by death). It's definetely worth checking out, though.

I've watched the new Sherlock Holmes on DVD some time ago (haven't been watching much since then) and really liked it. I especially love the way Watson was portrayed.
I really don't like him, for some reason, and nor do I like his companions. The show itself is still good, with brilliant ideas and humor, and it's one of my favourites, but I really wish they had changed some of the cast for season 6.
