What have you watched recently?

I've been watching the old 80's Dungeons and Dragons cartoon with my son.

It's fun watching this stuff as an adult because then you find out this stuff:

Willie Aames (Eight is Enough and Charles in Charge), Adam Rich (Eight is Enough), and Donny Most (Ralph Malph from Happy does) voices three of the main characters.

There is also two Transformers star voices in the show. Peter Culler (Optimus Prime) is Venger, the main bad guy. And Frank Welker (Megatron - and a bunch of others) is Tiamat and Uni the unicorn.

The show was developed by Mark Evanier who wrote comics as well as televison.

The list of episode writers include Paul Dini and Steve Gerber.

Cool, there is nothing worse than going back to these cartoons from your (my) childhood and realising, that they really weren't that good. I cried for three days after I rewatched a few episodes of Voltron and realised that everytime they form Voltron it is the same sequence each episode. Of course that I can forgive , but they pulled the same stunt and the end of a few episodes with a scene of the humans being congratulated for a job well done!!

Still going thru and watching all the old Justice League toons with my 2yr old. He just loves them. We finished the last ep before it turned into the JLU style.

Brave and the Bold was back on last night and so was a new ep of Flashpoint! I really like Flashpoint!!

Clone Wars. It was a pre/sequel to the episode Rookies. And was very good. There was a character named 99, which is automatically awesome.

My friend let me borrow his Dexter dvds so I can catch up for the new season. I'm looking forward to it.

I thought the Flash episode of The Brave and the Bold was well done. I felt Jay, Wally and Barry were true to the characters, as I see them anyway.

I thought Clone Wars this week was pretty good. A good old fashioned Western saloon shootout? Thumbs up!

I watched the first to episodes of Season 2 of Life the other night. I wish that show would have stuck around longer. It's so much better then most of the other cop shows on TV.

Just watched last week's Burn Notice. I loved the first two seasons of this show, but I think I'm ready for it to be done now.

Last night's Community was awesome. It was just as funny as the Halloween episode.
