This game has a HUGE uphill battle ahead of it. Its up against a lot of MMORPG's including the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, not to mention the Star Wars game and the fact that you already have the super hero genre represented on PC with City of Heroes and Champions online.

On the PS3 side its going to cost $15 a month to play (like its PC counterpart) and that I think is going to take allot of console gamers by surprise when they get the game home and realize "what I gotta pay!"

No cross platform support either, not that that is really a terrible thing as many MMORPG's have separate realms anyway that keep everyone from playing with everyone.

That said its got the DC Universe behind it so that of course is a plus. I was interested in this game until I got back into playing WOW, can't see playing and/or paying for two MMORPG's a month, and I don't see the game (universe aside) being better than WOW.

I was hoping to get into the beta to try it out, but I think at this point its fallen off my "buy" list.

I was thinking of buying a PS3 just for this game, but its also gioing to have a monthly fee? Hell no then.

Damn it, I've been excited about this game for ages, but a monthly fee.....
There gonna lose a lot of PS3 costumers by doing that, me included.

I'm trying to resist. If the ratings are high, I know I wont be able to resist though...

My guess is that if you REALLY want to play this game that while it'll be on PS3, if you can it would probably be better played on a PC.

Just judging from how WOW is played, the PC should be better.

Right now I have WoW and with Cat dropping around the same time I don't see myself jumping to another MMO.
