It is considerably better than the previous blu-ray Predator release.

I'll be interested to hear your reactions on the video quality. Harry Knowles loved it, said it was pristine. Blu-ray.com hated it, said they cleared up the grain too much and it looks too different than the original. I'm not a fan of grain, and I thought it was sweet.
