Haha MU330. Local boys from here in STL. I think they’re defunct at the moment so it’s weird to see them around town. I think one guy works at a Jimmy Johns and another is a bike messenger.

I’ve been on a huge concert kick this year so far. Lately I’ve seen:

Delta Spirit
Eisley
New Pornographers/Dodos
Deas Vail
Lovedrug
Maps & Atlases

I have a site where I post pictures I take at the shows. Feel free to check it out.

Steeven - That is a healthy looking list!

My list is somewhat shorter

Billy Ray Cyrus (1992 - Right around Achy Breaky Heart). This was my first concert and I LOVED it! I went with mum and dad. After the show we waited outside and got his autograph which I still proudly display to this day!! That being said I haven't kept up with him much over the years since then, but I will still crack out his old albums from time to time.

Weird Al - 2005 - Again, this was a really great show, it was the first time Al had toured outside of the US. I went with my best friend. My only complaint, was that I had a video of a Weird Al show and I had seen him change outfits between each song already, so some of the appeal and the novelty of that was lost when I saw him live. That being said I enjoyed the short video sections he had between songs to allow him time to change.

Creed - 2002 - Good show, loud, nothing special.

Bon Jovi - Dec 2010 - HOLY CRAP!! I have been wanting to see this band in concert since 1992, but through a number of circumstances, mostly outside my control, every time they have toured since then I have not been able to go. Every time I heard they were coming I swore "nothing will stop me this time", but it did. But NOW "NOTHING WILL STOP ME THIS TIME!!"

Man, in my teens and early 20s I had the chance to see everything/everyone I liked. Living in Seattle helped bring in the bands!! So highlights include:

Green Day - 11 times!
Pearl Jam - 5 times (one time was a 2 night show at the end of their world tour. First night's show was ok, 2 hr set but the 2nd night was off the chain. Chilli Peppers opend the concert and then PJ played for 3hrs 50 mins and played every hit!) Great live band.
Bob Dylan - 3 times (Bob is the man, see him if you get the chance)
Damien Rice - 6 times (Damo is one of my favorite musicians of all time. The can put on a live show like no other)
I could go on and on but I'm afraid it would just turn into rambling!!

80s Music is my specialty....

A Flock of Seagulls (1984, 1995?)
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (1985, 1991)
Depeche Mode (1988, 1990, 2001, 2005)
Clan of Xymox (1989, 1991)
Book of Love (1989)
Dada Mesa (1989-My old roommate's band)

Consolidated (1990?)
Killing Joke (1990)
Switchblade Symphony (1990)
Alien Sex Fiend (1990, 1992)
Frazier Chorus (1991)
EMF (1991)
Midge Ure (1992)
Morrissey (1992) (Someone jumped off a speaker and tackled Morrissey-end of concert. Apparently, this happens often)
The Cure (1992) (4th of July concert at SJSU. Fireworks and music!)
Dinosaur jr. (1992) (Opened for the Cure)
New Order (1993)
Pink Floyd (1994)
Skankin' Pickle (1995-ish)
Pato Banton (1995-ish)
Berlin (1995, 1999, 2001) (Terri Nunn takes my breath away!)
Benjamin Orr of the Cars (1999 or 2000, about a year before he sadly passed away)
Tommy Tutone (1999 or 2000)
Men at Work?

The Fixx (2000, several times, 2007, 2009)

Debbie Harry (2007)
Naked Eyes (2008)
Human League (2008)
Joe Jackson (2008)
Yaz (2008)
The Romantics (2009)

The Weather Girls. Yes, I saw "It's Raining Men" live. We were suppose to get Berlin as the opening act back in 1984 and got these ladies instead. My first real concert was the Weather Girls. My eternal shame!!! Although I think Crosby, Stills, and Nash played after a Giants back back in 1983.

UPCOMING...
A Flock of Seagulls this friday
Gary Numan in November
Roger Waters doing The Wall in December

And if I had the money, I'd fly to Europe and see OMD and Ultravox.

I had tix but had to back out of Röyksopp last year. :(

Best shows for me were Midge Ure (acoustic tour with other songwriters), Erasure, Yaz, ABC, and Thomas Dolby. Worst-Book of Love and Killing Joke.
