If Lebron goes to NY or NJ, I'll start watching the NBA again which I haven't done since Jordan retired. That's crazy impact. I'm sure there are more people saying that.

I think he's staying in CLE or going to CHI, btw.

nice! i like the NBA. and i especially like the fact that this forum is for all kinds of geekery! great job!

on to Lebron...he should go to NY. really. he'll always have MJ's legacy over his shoulder should he decide on chicago...he'll eventually butt heads with Wade if he goes to Miami. but NY? bright lights, big city, big market...sky's the limit!

Yea- I am not a big NBA fan and that is probably because of the game being very different than college ball which I love and the fact that there is a professional team in the Cincinnati Area. Now in Kentucky we live a breath college basketball

The state tax in NY will cost him about 9 million on a max contract also. You have to factor that in. Crazy.

So far, I'm pretty unimpressed with the greatest FA off season ever. And Lebron's ego is just a bit too big. Unless he goes to Miami, he'll never win a championship. As PTI pointed out, Adam Morrison will win more rings than the King.

With Wade and Bosch in Miami, I wonder what the means to Lebron...

I know I should be sick of all this Lebron/Mia Heat talk but I can't stop reading about it. Very interesting to say the least. Should make for a fun season.

Same here. I'm eating it up.

Random completely unsubstantiated rumor via Deadspin that Amare', Carmelo, & CP3 talked about their own "Big 3" in NY.

Now that would be quite the team up as well!! CP3 needs another star to play with.

So odd that Iverson and Shaq don't have teams yet. Though I'm sure neither wants to play for the min or come off the bench.
