Reds are in a bit of a slump and pitching has been awful. They really need to turn it around if they are going to make a run for it.

John, any chance if Girardi wins another World Series for the Yanks that he makes a move to be the Cubs' new skipper?

I mostly think no because that Yankee cash is hard to compete with but, taking a team to two World Series doesn't leave much else for you to do other than a third World Series...

Man, the Mariners suck. They should be the next team to flee Seattle for OKCity.

Haren to the Angels for Saunders & a couple prospects. Still think the Rangers got them beat. Also rumor is the Rangers are making a move for Jorge Cantu

I'm glad that Lee told the Cubs and Angels to stick it.

I'm sure it's not that contentious but it sounded good. :)

Oswalt to the Phils. Hopefully they don't trade him away in the off season like they did with lee. Rumor is the Phil are interested in Jose Bautista and or Migel Tejada.

One more blow to the Astros.

He's played his whole career in Houston. I miss the days when guys would play their whole career or most of it with a single team. I know free agency allows for players to make more money but I admire team loyalty.

Possibly. I've heard that the Cubs might deal Lee away and possibly pick up Berkman. Not sure that's such a good deal overall but we'll see.
