Well, started this thread in the "wrong forum" and now moving it here. Considering we lost traces of quite a bit of HHW/LOD community memory when we moved, I thought I'd just put up some stuff I found lying around.

First off, do you guys remember this?

Funny thing. I took a trip UP memory lane and found a parallel universe where Joe Q. tore up an episode of Half Hour Wasted because Frank made a deal with Mephisto to end his marriage to Lisa Loeb.

The first episode of HHW I listened to had Brad and Frank call Junbob and played a joke on him.

I remember thinking that I had no idea who Junbob was, I didn't understand the joke because I didn't know the backstory, and I didn't have to take that! So I gave the show a pass and decided not to listen to them.

Then, months and months go by and for some reason I decide to check out thier first Star Wars episode . . . I was hooked.

I never did go back and listen to that first episode I tried out.

I can't remember which one it was.

Anyone remember an early episode in which Frank and Brad call Junbob to play a joke on him? Something like Frank or Brad was mad at Junbob?

As I remember correctly, Brad quickly turned this non-existent rivalry between Erica Hesse and me into a gold-mind opportunity (Don King style) and turned it into a fight at CGS300. Here's what I could find of stuff I remember making for the pre-fight promo, but I really wished he had captured other people's contributions during that time...

Heh, it was no big deal personally... but Brad and I wanted to freak Frank out as if I was really bent out of shape over it (especially because Frank was so proud of himself for securing the interview with Erica, being the "international laaaadees man" that he was). In the end the joke didn't really work because his real reaction was not recorded, etc. Fun times, fun times.

I need to go back and listen to that . . . I bet I'd get a real kick out of it now.
