Going back in time with HHW

Postby TAL » Fri Apr 15, 2011 7:19 am

Episode 139 is where I started listening to this show, and I've been back every week since then. At the end of last month I started thinking about how there is 138 episodes that I haven't listened to, so I dowloaded all of them and started listening. I did 10/day the first week because they were much shorter back then. But 71-138 took me almost two weeks.

I'm all caught up now, thanks for the laughter!

Were they that much shorter? I thought we always averaged about 90 minutes. Of course some were shorter and some much longer, but 90 minutes seems like it would be a good average.

I may figure it out one day. :)

I started around the 90's and desperately went back to catch up... And having burned through them all, I have decided that HHW needs at the minimum at least 5 episodes a week.

The Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Monty Python reviews are a real treat, since Bill is in rare form and astounds us with fantastical knowledge..

Dude, that's what we have all been saying.

But will they listen? NO!

Curse you fellas for making us love you but not giving us much of you!

I'm taking a ride in the HHW time machine myself. I just recently started listening regularly and catching up. Very cool all the past episodes are available in the iTunes feed. It's annoying when you find a good podcast and have to go to their site to download archived shows. I got through the first 20 and many from the past few months so far. The format is great, really the ideal of what a podcast can be- a few buddies hanging out and talking about stuff they're interested in. Nothing pretentious at all, I appreciate how down to earth the show is. All the guys and their guests seem to have great senses of humor. And their kids are indeed adorable, love Sage's way of talking. I gotta have my wife listen to one of his excerpts.
