Happy Halloween! This week the guys talk about the upcoming AMC show, The Walking Dead and the latest member of the HHW/LOD family, The Walking Dead TV podcast. We also play THE VOICE’S voice over demo reel and we accidently give a 3 year old candy.

I vote that Bill have his geek card suspended until further notice! Big Bang Theory is a great show and Bill should be ashamed. I think I am so appalled that I will stop subscribing to HHW.........Bazinga! Now Bill probably did not get what I just did there since he is lame and does not watch Big Bang Theory.

As an iphone user I must say that I don't think it is a girl's phone. I may have man-boobs, but I am all dude! BTW....my Netflix app on my iphone works great and I love streaming movies, how's your Blockbuster app on the Droid...oh wait.....sorry.... Also, my iphone doesn't seem less manly when I play your podcasts over it....or does it?

Anyway...Walking Dead was great and so was the Walking Dead TV podcast.

Working (trying to at least) and listening at the same time, but I had to chime in:

Iphone - TOTALLY a girl phone, especially soccer mom phone - this is partially motivated by my lack of any type of smart phone other than my work phone which is an outdated blackberry.

Big Bang Theory - I think most of the jokes are pretty corny and predictable, which prevented me from watching it for the first few seasons, but for some reason my wife LOVES it, not because she is a geek but because she's "married to one" and can "relate"!?!?!? Wha? I have to admit the show has grown on me and I do like the geek references, but if it wasn't for that - I would not be watching it.

For some reason I think they go too far with the stereotypes...now I know how gays, "not that there's anything wrong with that" felt having to "support" Will & Grace. JK

Now back to the show...

You kind of ruined the illusion of your Walking Dead review by spending 3 minutes establishing that when you recorded the show had not actually been on yet!! Nice work boys!!

Apart from that, good episode. I thought you guys were going to answer questions from Facebook. Brad (or Frank) posted "We are recording HHW now, post us some questions.......". Oh well)

Also Bill's demo tape sounded sweet!!

I was wondering what happened to the questions from facebook.

I don't view iphone or Droid as a guy or girls phone. everyone I know with either simply got it becuase of who there provioder is. My brother is an iphone snob but I could care less as I do not own a smart phone.

Big Bang theory is a fun show.

Standard Definition/HD? lol. That had me laughing.

Bill, there is some HD content on Netflix. I know The Office, and a lot of the History/Discovery Channel stuff is. But it's only 720p if I'm not mistaken. So for non HD content you'll be a little worse off with composite cables but not terrible. For the "HD" stuff you'll pump it down to 480i. Might be worth investing in Component cables for the Wii. If nothing else you'll get better color representation for what you're watching.

Now, the PS3 on the other hand shows some Netflix HD content in 1080i....

I found it funny that Bill and Brad presented their ideas of the iPhone vs Android as if they were two separate ideas, when to me it sounded like they were saying the same thing.

The iPhone is for people who like the newest coolest popular gadget and will get it despite any flaws or closed systems.
Androids are for people who like to feel superior to the masses by choosing the option that is very close to, but not exactly the same as what the popular masses chose.

I think it's a lot more simple than all of that. If you're an AT&T customer and want a smart phone you got the IPhone. Also if you wanted a smart phone early on, the IPhone was the clear leader before the Android phone took off. Also the IPhone is simple and easy to use. If you have Itunes already it's easy, synch and charge. If you were on Sprint, Verizon, or TMobile and couldn't or wouldn't switch then you moved to Android. Or Palm Pre for those of us that were disillusioned with thinking that Palm would get some market share and actually have decent apps.

Clearly the iphone wins out according to PC World...

Another great episode . . . though I had some real problems hearing Frank. Bill was way loud and Frank was way quiet. Maybe it was just my car stereo.

I don't have an iPhone or an Android. Heck, I don't even have a smart phone. I don't know that I really need one.

I'm also trying to determine if Bill's Sam Shepard/Boiler Plate thing was a joke or not.

Just like kitty cats are girls and doggies are boys. Also, Jettas are chick cars and not chick magnets, especially in Texas, as one of my “good friends” was always quick to remind me about my old car.

In reponse to the hurtful comments made about my wonderful iPhone I will now challenge all android users to a lightsaber battle.So Halfhour wasted we are now at war.

My bad on the "could care less” I know better, but to defend myself it is a very common mistake. I do have a terrible time with spelling and grammar, which I am sure, is obvious if you read anything I post. Any way a Cowboys fan is defending the Android is really all the information you need if his opinion counts.
