DC New 52 Thoughts

The books are starting to come out this week. I'm curious what everyone thinks.

Today I picked up Action Comics #1, Detective Comics #1, Batgirl #1, Justice League International #1, Swamp Thing #1 and Static Shock #1. I will be reviewing them on Nerd Heard and on our blog this weekend.

So far it's very hit and miss with me. Mostly miss. I didn't like Action but I really enjoyed Batgirl. Still have several more to read.

Here's what I thought of ten of them.

I really dug Animal Man, Men of War, Swamp Thins, & JLI. I wanted to like Green Arrow but It just wasn't good. Batgirl I am in the middle, not sure how I feel about it

I think that for the most part I’ve enjoyed just about every one of these I’ve picked up so far. I was surprised to find that I was most disappointed with Catwoman, which is one of the ones I was looking forward to the most. My favorites so far are Green Lantern: New Guardians and Batman Detective. Nightwing is also up there as well. Too many good comics and not enough money

Well, it's been almost a year. What's been everyone's favorites of the New 52 so far? Least favorites? I'm thinking of finally trying our some titles. I already tried Snyder's Batman and LOVED it! Also got Earth 2, which was pretty good, but I had too many things spoiled before reading it

Love Earth 2. Flash's costume is kinda strange but I still love this title so far. Can't wait to read issue #3.

Out of the 52 I'm down to 5 books. Batman, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Superboy, and Demon Knights.
