IT'S BACK, BABY!!!

As much as I'm thrilled over the sweeping improvements in Marvel's X-Books, the return of Saga is the thing that has me most excited in the comic world this month. I'm seriously thinking about buying up some copies of the first trade to give out as gifts this year. More folks need to know about this series!

Yep! It's back! Picked up my issue today. Gonna read it tonight when I get home from work so I can enjoy it with some vodka. Anyway, there's also a Ghost variant cover out there that featues art by Paul Pope of Jordan from Jersey's favorite character design "The Stalk". Enjoy.

Awesome issue. This book constantly amazes me with how well the panels are laid out: The narrative flows naturally and smoothly from panel to panel, page to page. And Fiona Staples' art is beautiful. There's no other word for it. This book delivers a one-two punch of great story and great art that has knocked me on my ass with each issue. I want more.
