Anyone reading this new title from Image? I've read the first 3 issues and I think it's fantastic.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who appreciates this comic book. I love Fiona Staples artwork as well. After the first 2 issues I was hooked. Just finished issue #4 and I think I'll be getting this monthy instead of waiting for trades. My favorite character so far is "The Will" followed closely by Marko. Can't wait for issue #5!

I heard good things but I always end up getting BKV's stuff in trade so I'm holding off on it till the trade comes out.

Great series; the writing and art are incredible. Next issue, PLEASE!

Read issue #5 last night. BKV is the master of cliffhangers.

Man; WTF? Why are more folks not gushing over how great this book is? If you're reading this and haven't checked it out yet, go pick it up! Better yet; pick up the trade this October and YOU WILL BE HOOKED. Seriously, this series has action, great characterization, incredible art, and takes the reader to an alien yet familiar universe that leaves you hungry to learn more. Issue 6- AWESOME. I only have 2 gripes:

1- Trying to figure out how The Will and his ex actually did the deed. I mean seriously, she is NOT my idea of sexy.
2- TWO FREAKING MONTH BREAK. I understand, though. Staples has been smashing out home-run after home-run with both the covers and interior art. I'd rather have her take a break than have the book pick up a substitute artist. Still, the wait is gonna be tough.

I know. This book is consistently the best comic out there right now. Issue 6 was incredible. The Rocketship forest was well worth the wait. I've seen the cover to issue 7. It shows Marko partially soaked in blood and what looks like feathers below him. It was featured in a recent BKV interview. Everyone who loves this series as much as I do (albeit we're only 6 issues in) needs to order the trade and loan it to friends. I have mine on order. $6.99 from Scifigenre.com or DCBService.com has pre-order for $4.99.

The 2 month wait will be worth it and I'm glad that only Fiona will be drawing Marko and Alana. It's worth the wait to have no fill-in artists.

I love this book! I picked it up because it was a BKV project, but fell in love with it for Staples' art. This book is gorgeous and amazing! BKV is at his best in weaving a great sci-fi story with awesome characters and great development of intricate plots pulled together in this web of awesome story telling. I am a bit bummed for a two month break, but if it means that every book is done by this same team with Staples' art, I am fine with it.
I have bought every issue, but still plan to get the trade in hopes that it includes extras from Staples. I wonder if she would do commissions? I would love a piece of her work on my wall.

I'm caught up to the first trade now and I absolutely loved it. Great character designs throughout (The Stalk in particular). I really dig all of the crazy ideas.

If you like The Stalk then check out the cover to issue 9 coming out in January. I wonder if this is a flashback to the romance between her and The Will. Either way it'll be great to see Fiona doing more artwork for this amazing character.
