yeah but as a person that is a finally a daredevil reader, and really liking where this story was going, i am saddened to have to take any break from it, and honestly if it is not just a continuation of it i don't know if i will stay on the book.

John posited a good theory about this, that whoever steps up to be the new "Man Without Fear" as hinted at in some of the latest Marvel Shadowland promos will take over the title like The Incredible Hulk became The Incredible Hercules.

Exactly. Honestly i really am not a Marvel Reader at all, But everytime i jump on a mainstream Marvel book within 5 issues the book is either cancelled, re branded, or raised to 3.99. Really seems to me that Marvel just wants me away from their books

And for that I blame Tom Brevoort, Why? Because i blame everything on him.

It seems like this is what they typically do when there is a big shakeup with a character. However I am sure it will come back at 3.99

Granted, I don't read Daredevil, but from what I know about Shadowland, this seems like it would be a narrative based, "end" to the book. I don't see why this would be an issue for most people.

Daredevil either: dies, goes evil for a while, or quits, and the book ends with him. Then it's brought back as "The Man Without Fear" with a different hero doing Dardevil's job for about a year. And then DD comes back in force for a year, and then they go back to the original numbering.

It's not exactly a new concept.

Ultimate Spiderman.

A long time ago the Jesus in our Marvel Trinity of Shit Dicks, Bendis said that Ultimate Spiderman will never be 3.99. So the Changed the title to make it technically not Ultimate Spiderman but whatever it is now. Looks like they will be changing the title back, Who wants to guess if they are rolling the price back as well.

Bendis is in there simply by association. and sometimes i think through his bendis tapes with Suintris and other things he has sad that he believes the hype that is around his name.
