No news that this is, but it looks like maybe Jason Todd, Roy Harper/Arsenal, and Starfire are getting their own book.

So if they have Dick, Jason, and Damian...there's no way in hell that they're wiping out Tim, Cass, and Steph out of this, I don't think.

Dick is confirmed as going back to Nightwing, and Jason is leading the Outlaws (i.e. Arsenal and Starfire)...

The only loose end not announced is Tim, arguably the best Robin. He's really the odd man out here.

The artists on the Red Hood title is Kenneth Rockafort. I first saw him when he filled in for Marc Silvestri on Hunter Killer. Then he also did Madame Mirage and the Velocity mini for Top Cow. And he's doing some superman stuff. The guy is freakin' amazing. Probably my favorite artist currently doing regular work in the medium shy of Immonen or Finch (no lateness jokes, I know Finch is not that regular)...

What's the problem with Batwing? Outside of Winick being a kind-of writer that can go either way, and the fact that Marts went stupidly PC in calling a character from Africa "African-American," this looks really cool.

I don't care about that part at all. It's just that there are so many Bat-books already, I'm not reading the one about the new guy. They're not even done yet and we're already at, what, 10? It's out of hand.

Well, Birds has absolutely no ties to the Bat family except the inclusion of Poison Ivy, so I think we can skip that one in the relaunch. And Finch's book will only come out quarterly, so that's not adding much extra reading... We're losing Inc and Red Robin and gaining Nightwing and this Batwing-thing. Seems like a wash so far.

I'm not reading Bat-Wing. I refuse on basic principle.

The principle being that it's going to be cancelled after 4 issues if there's any justice in the world.

Because it's not Bruce Wayne. It's not even a side character that I kinda care about, like one of the Robins. It's a character that's been on a grand total of 6 or pages, and now has his own comic book. It's unearned, and it won't last, and I don't care.

It appears BC is reporting Tim as Red Robin in the rebooted Teen Titans. At least he's getting a much more unique costume. Looks more like the Falcon from Marvel. Better than Dr Midnight I suppose.
