I am the co-host of the TWO TRUE FREAKS PODCAST . I have been alternately described as a "hellish jumble of mismanaged parts" and a "humble God".

How adorable. It's like an episode of Two True Freaks got shrunk in the dryer. ;)

I imagine this is what TTF would have sounded like in the old days before the real world beat them down into the jaded old bastards they are today. :) A wonderful listen would listen to a spin off series by our mysterious host if it ever came to pass.

Your first home console was a Gamecube?

Sweet Christmas now I feel old. Mine was the Colecovision.

*sigh*

I was in college when the Gamecube came out.

*sigh*

Scotty dude, you're freaking me out calling the Game Boy Advance the "Game Boy." lol Just finished the second segment, good stuff dude, good stuff.

Godzilla: DAMM is a CLASSIC game. My friend Joe and I would hook that up every time I would go over to his apartment. I never really played the one player mode that much but that game was designed for two or more players. Gigan and Megalon rock the party that rocks your body! I won't be able to talk about it much on EDD since I don't have a Gamecube BUT I do have a copy of the GBA tie-in game, Godzilla: Domination, which is sort of like a Godzilla overlay of King Of The Monsters (look that one up).

(OT: "Read our podcast!" STILL cracks me up every time.)

If you ever do invest in a Wii, Luke, it is backwards compatible with all the GameCube games, unlike the 360 and PS3 with their former console games, so you could feasibly play Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters on it. I've heard that the game was pretty fun, and because my daughter is into the fighting games (she loves Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii) I might try to find it on the cheap.

Joe, later games in the series were released on the PS2 and I am guessing some of the Xbox formats. My brother got me a PS2 a few years back and I am often tempted by cheap used copies of Godzilla: Save The Earth or some of the others. But my non-GNA gaming time is practically nil, unfortunately.

Luke, I did enjoy hearing you talking about Godzilla: DAMM on episode 2 of EDD. Awesome! Also, I remember there being a game that I forgot on the Game Boy emulator. It was a Godzilla game much like DAMM, but it was way different. Other than it being a Game Boy Advance game rather than a GameCube game, it had a bunch of weird different features.
(I actually forgot a bunch of stuff that I REALLY didn't mean to forget when I did the show. I'm hoping that during a hinted feedback show, me, dad, and Chris will get to tell all the games we forgot.)

Joe, Super Smash Bros. Brawl wasn't my only Wii game listed without reason. SSB games are great and are better (in my opinion) than any Mortal Kombat that can be thrown at me. (Scotty Gardner does NOT endorse video games being thrown at him... especially in cartridge form.) Also, I wanted to get the Toejam and Earl game (and possibly the Tick, if possible [also a game I forgot]) for the Wii through Wii Shop channel.

Scotty, the GBA game you are referring to is Godzilla: Domination.

Fun little game!

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit. Well done Scotty, you have your dad's gift for gab. Scott, you should have Scotty on more often when able. I think its interesting to hear the younger generation's take on things from time to time. I also felt very, very old after listening though.

Perhaps I should have said "propensity for verbal elaboration"?
