I have not seen much of DS9. It was getting started sort of as I was leaving Trek a little bit with the end of TNG. And even though I watched Voyager I never got into DS9 by that point because every time I tried to watch it was like I was missing something.
The opening theme I thought was very nice, a real change of pace from what had come before.
Listening to the Buck Rogers score now (much love, APLUK) and digging it. I love the title track, very late 70s AM radio singer-songwriter. But the score itself is very earnestly science fiction and there is always something fresh about that.
