It was a really great solo episode Scott. I thought that everytime it got close to getting a little dry you pulled out that patented Gardner humour and I always chuckle at your jokes man.

As usual, I really enjoyed the show.
Since "The Jonah Hex" podcast has been silent for a while, any chance we could get a Jonah story. Due to your podcast, before hiatus, you got me interested enough in the character that I picked up a trade at my LCS, "Welcome to Paradise". It had 7-8 stories in it, including 2 or 3 that you had covered, including the one where he pushes the female judge in the wheelchair off the cliff. While I can't say that I will be picking up any more Hex regularly, it had me look at a character I had barely even heard of before, much less ever read.

Hey Scott I've discovered my headset does in fact work and if you need a co-host for the show with a huge love of comics...and a schedule so open that a Super Star Destroyer could pass through it, I'm your man.

Scott, I have tried to get into the Legion a few times since I started getting full-on into DC, but I just can't seem to get into a groove with them. There's a few characters I like (Lightning Lad seems pretty neat, and Wildfire is cool), but overall whenever I read them I get a feeling like there's a lot which I am missing. I get the same feeling when I read a lot of post-Giant Sized X-Men comics, appropriately enough.

I have liked a few of the modern Legion stories DC has published over the last few years but not enough to really buy them or check out their series (plural). Still, they are a good concept and it's always good to have at least a few titles which are not connected directly to your main line of books, be they genre books or period pieces.

The solo show format works well. Plus it is not as much of a jarring transition when you throw a guest host in there since we're all working solo.

Loved the new episode about Superman. Classy. Scott, I'm in total agreement on why Superman is awesome, he can't solve everything, he's not God, he's powerful, but still saddled with the same emotions and problems that make us Human, and that will always be his greatest weakness, not Kryptonite.
