I am still on a Star Wars high from Celebration but I can't wait for the next ST:MM. Love this show!

I was shopping at Target today and found this ST tumbler set. What I like about it is it uses drawings of the characters as opposed to photos. The artwork reminds me of the Goldkey Star Trek comics.

Our first glimpse (sort of) of Star Trek: Into The Darkness.

The "clip" is three frames long. Not 3 seconds. 3 frames.

For crying out loud, NuTrek had a trailer a year in advance, give us something already.

Hey guys if you wonder when you need to start covering the TNG DC monthly comic series, Memory Beta lists the first two issues (as they are one story) between Elementary Dear Data, and the Outrageous Okona.

So you kind of need to get caught up then.

I am the co-host of the TWO TRUE FREAKS PODCAST . I have been alternately described as a "hellish jumble of mismanaged parts" and a "humble God".

I used to love those "Best of Trek" books, too. I even got my name mentioned in one of them (vol 10, maybe?) - I wrote a letter to Leslie Thompkins' "Star Trek Mysteries" when I was in seventh grade, and she responded to it. It's a pretty dumb letter, as I recall; but it was exciting at the time to see my name in print like that.

no DC Comics reviews this month ?

on the Next Gen comics series, I haven't looked at those in years, but I remember thinking they were mostly mediocre. I only have the regular series that started in '89 which started taking place during the second season. I never read the mini series from '87. the covers were great, but the inside art was so so. I was more into the original series era comic that was out out the same time probably because outside of the movies that was the only new Classic Trek we got. plus Peter David writing the early issues of the second volume didn't hurt either

Brian Tochi will always be Takashi from Revenge of the Nerds to me

I finally got a chance to listen to the latest STMM episodes and I had a thought about next months episode. Since you will be reviewing The Tholian Web episode it would be interesting if you give a mini review of The Enterprise Episode "In A Mirror, Darkly which covers what happened to The Defiant after it disappeared into interphase.

"Measure Of a Man" to get an extended cut with deleted scenes on the upcoming bluray release! The debate continues!

for some reason, the original series movies are on the IFC channel every night this week.

how big budget Trek movies are "Independent Films", i have no idea

then again, that channel has fallen off the cliff in recent years
