I'm enjoying the episodes but what happened to traveling to other worlds.

That cyborg totally reminded me of Deadlok. The marking on the face was a cool idea for an identifier.

So if the Ponds get a spin-off are they the new Torchwood?

Next week should be interesting, I'm not seeing any story arc until maybe 2nd 1/2 of the season.

The Power of Three was somewhat disappointing, I have no idea what went on with the villain. If they had planned for this season to be the last, they should have waited on the River Song revelation. And I guess they aren't here for the entire season since the mid season finale is next week & it's their last. Weeping Angels and River are back though,Yay!

I felt like the whole thing was rushed and no danger to anyone. I mean at first they kill 1/3 of the world's population, then fix it within 5 mins. This first half of the season is some of the least entertaining of Who since I started watching. I agree that the long drawn out companion departing storyline is not good. If it wasnt for it being Amy and Rory, I would have zero interest. Now my interest sits at like 25%

Agreed, I don't get what's going on, this is highly irregular for the show. And what's up with Amy's hair? It's been looking like a wig in some scenes, all pasted on her head. Ok being slightly nit picky.

I liked the episode well enough. The payoff was kind of lame, but the boxes and what they were used for was a cool conceit.

I disagree that it's the least entertaining Who. Even if the stories have been somewhat lackluster compared to the last 2 seasons, the Dr himself is greatly entertaining.

I'm starting to think that the overall arc is going to be the Dr coming to terms with how he kinda screws up people's lives on a regular basis. Some personal growth.

My prediction the Christmas episode is a Christmas Carol themed.

I liked the idea of the episode and most of the execution, but the ending not so much.

I can see that being the theme Shaw

Dang how could we not talk about last weeks episode, I'll admit I was sad and yet another companion lost to a timeline. It bugged me a lot. Good episode though, the stuff with River was intense and warming.

Yeah. I thought most of it was good. Why did Rory go in the goddamn building? Amy redeemed herself in terms of being a bitch toward Rory. The slowly falling and twirling almost ruined it. And her letter to the Doctor was the best part.

I totally didnt see that coming with him tearing out the page.

I dont know if anyone saw Karen Gillens Conan interview, boy did he make me mad. You could tell she was so nervous and he asks her stupids questions then never let her speak, grrrrr. Jimmy Fallon woulda treated her well.

So, Christmas special? I liked it. Granted I feel snowmen were far from scary, and the reveal of the big bad villain being an echo essentially? meh. But the Doctor and his interactions, plus his "sidekick" penis head, and other cameos made it fun. Curious on his new sidekick. Clone? Time Lord? Triplettes?

Very strong episode, as we all know everything is linked.Im thinking these snow beings comeback somehow. Was that Captian Picard? Also I think I saw some lights blinking, or maybe that was my imagination. Loved the Mary Poppins shout out. I was thinking this episode was dedicated to Julie Andrews, the kids & dad reminded me of The Sound of Music as well. Can't wait to see what happens with Clara, Im pretty excited for 7.2.
