Series/Events Suggestions Thread

Postby Crazy Clees » Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:54 am

We also want to cover topics our listeners want to hear. Apocalypse Saga? Death of Supes? Bone? Give us some ideas. Marvel, DC, Indy; it is all on the table.

Of course AOA and the Death of Super Man are great ideas. When Batman got his back broken. I have no glue if that event had a name.
The Phalanx Saga.

Some bad topics could be fun to such as Spider-Man 2099 and X-men 2099. That Marvel Vs. DC thing back in the Mid-90s. The Spider Man clone wars.

The Marvel vs DC is a really good idea, too. I actually just reread that a few years ago, just to remember how "great" it was

The Batman Story was called Knightfall I think. Some stuff I'd like to hear, AoA, Maximum Carnage, Onslaught saga, and Zero Hour.

There are so many podcasts that I already listen too that cover current books. Some of the classic stories would be cool. Plus I always enjoy hearing about a story that I had missed and then checking it out on a recommendation from a podcast.

But, you guys can do what you think listeners want to hear. I'm just hear for the ride.

Long Halloween is a good choice. I have it as well so lets move it up the schedule and we will hit it up on the next DC round. Also books coming up are Secret Invasion, DC vs Marvel, and I want to trick Ryan into reading the Great Darkness Saga.

Just thought of another one. How about one of Uatu's first appearances in one of the first big comic events with the FF fighting off Galactus. Also know as the "The Galactus Trilogy".

That is a good one. The upcoming podcast has some Uatu in it, and he has some rants about that.

Haha! You need to do a Spider-man series so me can see how many times Ryan can say "the douche" in one show.

I actually did a listen to all our episodes and kept count on how many times the word douche came up in conversation. Maybe I'll do a contest and people can guess the number. Yikes, we really should stop using that word.
