One of the biggest books in comic history, finally reviewed. We assembled our normal cast of Alex and Ryan, and we brought in a whole ONE guest. But that guest is the mysterious, the professional, the lady who did not "read" the books, Elizabeth. The three of them barely do justice to the book that is Watchmen. Join us as we tackle books 1-6 of the only comic on TIME's best 100 novels list. Does Ryan like the story? Did the motion comic Liz watched do it justice? Are you sad that our podcast themed show did a them about comics?

Dark Phoenix Saga, Watchmen, and Muppets were all great topics. Your selections on the whole are impeccable. This particular episode was dragged down by Liz who, by my recollection, was unable to make a single substantive point about Watchmen in an entire hour. Anyways, Clees, you were the one who told me that my opinion of Liz would fall after listening! Did I miss the road sign showing sarcasm 4 miles ahead?

I do dislike reading/hearing about people quitting Community mid-episode so I will listen to the rest of the podcast later.

ETA: I had a high opinion of Liz coming into the episode.

No I was giving you a hard time because the comics podcast is this one with themes, but DAMPcast with Liz we do the themes like Muppets. Of course our next ep us themed with Back to the Future, sorry.

I agree that this was not our best ep. It is hard to hit home runs every time. Hopefully you can make it through the rest and we will pray part 2 goes better

There are at least 3 instances where we quote the Doc. Surprisingly we didn't touch on a Marty impression, hurm...

Second half of the episode was much better.

That is good. I think part 2 turned out better as a whole, too. That will be up this weekend.

Ok, no offense to Liz, but if you are going to praise something or say something sucks, you might want to have more to your opinion than that. One example or reason or piece of analysis would help your cause, and make the podcast much more interesting to listen to.
