WatXM #10 & X-Men Legacy #266 (Spoilers)

this event is pretty shit overall, but these two books were like beams of light poking through the clouds. i was disappointed by bachalo's first few issues on WatXM, but this last one has him coming back to his former glory, i dunno, it just really gelled with me, it was the bachalo i know and love. woot! also the focus gage and aaron put on their character relationships despite the forceful tie-ins really help a lot. i loved frenzy, moonknight, falcon and shehulk, and am hoping for a 3-4 page she-hulk/rogue throw down in the next issue.

W&TXM I really enjoyed--Scott's tour of the Mansion with Logan made for some engrossing reading. Even Legacy was kinda cool, the way it progressed into a brawl was pretty well-handled--one thing: who exactly is Frenzy? I know she's in Astonishing right now but I don't think I've ever read anything with her in it.

Frenzy was a villain first appearing in ancient X-Factor carvings from the 80s. she has luke cage powers. she joined the acolytes in the early 90's when magneto said, "hey girl, why doncha join me acolytes?!" and she was like, "what accent is That?!?" and he answered, "Magnetic!"

then she joined rogue after an off panel lesbian experience. it was never referenced in the comics, but i'm sure it happened. rogue was like, "whoa, what's THAT move?" and frenzy answered, "Magnetic!"

DKJ, Phillies is pulling your leg. There was never any Rogue/Frenzy flirtation. They may have fought when Frenzy was an Acolyte, but didn't really interact until post Age of X.

Frenzy was part of a short-lived group called the Alliance of Evil that worked of Apocalypse when he debuted. She later joined the Acolytes. Most of the time she had little characterization other than being angry and super strong. She learned that she had the capacity to be a hero and has been attempting to redeem herself ever since Age of X.

If anything Frenzy has the hots for Cyclops as they were together in Age of X.
