I was just trying to rile up our resident Remy-philes. Marvel's titles are generally on-the-nose; I have no actual reason to suspect this is not another example of that trend.

Also, it appears to be trademark renewal time - first "X-Treme X-Men", now "Gambit". Hey Marvel - that "Madrox" trademark's getting a little dusty. Just sayin'.

Awesome... 22 pages a month of Gambit rubbing some C-Lister's feet while not nailing Rogue. Please PLEASE take my $3.99 Marvel!

I'd be more excited if this was Mike Carey's return to X-Men or even Marjorie, but I've read that it's probably James Asmus which makes me think four issue mini-series spinning out of AvX.

Oh James Asmus is a good guess. He has teased feature projects recently.

A mini is fine but I hope it's not cause of this 90's resurge and the mini follows Gambit betraying the X-Men in AvX. Been 20 years we are pass that. But knowing Marvel, they love love beating their dead horses till it's a lump of pink paste. I.E We are at Marvel Zombies 6 or 9 if you include the other non Marvel Zombie numbere titles.

Yeah, I'd imagine it'd be a safer bet to do a mini-series first to test the waters...but then they're making this X-Treme X-Men thing an on-going, so maybe they know something I don't.

I dunno...I don't hate the character, he definitely can be interesting with the right creative team, but the guys being mentioned right now really isn't making me want to throw cash money down.

I'd say this is Marjorie's project, considering how big of a Gambit fan she is, but considering she dropped from two books to one I can't see her doing it. Unless it is a mini.

Hey, Joe Mad got threes issues of Avenging Spider-Man out. His record is better than Pacheo on Uncanny who can only complete one issue before he needs fill in artist to help.

With all the Joe mad talk, Marvel did say that they moved him and Wells off Avenging Spider-Man for a special project. So maybe...
