So the whole 10 issue arc per artist thing didn't work out. Cassaday is off Uncanny Avengers. Daniel Acuna will be replacing him as the regular artist as of issue 6; Oliver Copiel will help fill in on issue 5.

I took it to mean that Acuna will be the artist for #6 and moving forward.

Hmmm. Not a huge fan of Acuna. I'll keep buying for the story if I'm into it.

Ugh not Acuna. He is terrible. Now I'm gonna have art with people with missing faces.

I suppose it was either that or wait several months between issues. I wasn't really liking Cassaday's art in this book anyway. I don't mind Acuna.

Love Acuna! Very happy at this, and at least it'll be released on time.

I don't think Acuna is untalented, I just don't personally care for his style. That said I am all about comics coming out when they are supposed to come out.

What's Jim Cheung doing these days? Him and Cassaday should take turns at being really slow, but awesome.

i love acuna, the guy draws by layering colours. he's done some Awesome work! though, yeah, when rushed, some bg peeps have ended up missing faces. but any rushed artist will put out garbage. can't be helped. sounds like Cassaday is just one of those guys who can't prioritize panel art so that you can send out a weak but acceptable page. or he just doesn't want to. which is a shame when it costs you your job.

Hey now. Bryan Hitch is the king of slowness. His average is a page every 5 months.

And it's not just faces, Acuna also does missing bodies. Sometimes it'll just he a beige oval for Namor.
