It seems that one of Cyclops's team is going to stab him in the back.

Who do we think?

Emma would be interesting given her past relationship with Scott.

Scott would definitely be a hell of a twist, but unlikely.

Emma would have the motive.

Magneto...right now it seems like he's trying to help Scott, Emma and Magik, but maybe he does something to help them that they think is a betrayal?

Magik's at this point gone completely coo-koo for cocoa puffs, so that's definitely a likely candidate.

Any one of the kids could decide that this is too much and sells them out so that they could get out, but I would think Bendis would want to build the kids up first.

Really, it all depends on the context of what the group will be facing in their title.

I call Magik.

I'm guessing Magneto. I hope not though. I'm enjoying the Magento/Cyclops relationship.

Cyclops has kinda become Magneto. This kinda makes me think it might be Magneto becoming what he fought against all these years, Xavier. Scott killed his bro Xavier so Mags turns all Vader at the end of Jedi and... Never mind, I'm pretty hammered, carry on.

My guess is Emma, too. And if you look at All-New X-Men #6, it looks like someone at the school is trying to communicate with Emma.

Yeah, that really stood out and I'm look forward to see if Bendis gives the Emma communication attempts a payoff.

OH SNAP. I didn't notice that until now. Yeah, that definitely makes her more likely. I mean, Logan could have gotten the US to make a deal--figure out what Cyclops and co. are up to, and in return, once they're all back in prison, Emma could live out her probation going back to what she loves and teaching at the Jean Grey School.

So, who do we think is trying to contact Emma? Seems like a student, since they start off calling her Ms. Frost. One or more of the Cuckoos seem like a natural candidate, although perhaps too obvious.

Could be someone who'd be formal with her? Beast? Or someone who is being sarcastic in calling her Miss Frost.

Great catch. I hope Bendis follows up on this little hint, but he has been known to completely forget the occasional plot thread or two.

EDIT: Interesting side note: Bendis tweeted that many of those thought balloons were taken from fans' message board reactions to All New X-Men #1. (He didn't mention the Emma balloon.)
