I'm fine either way with the X-men or X-women title, but I do think the argument that 'X-men' isn't feminist enough is pretty weak. Segregating the women into their own book causes it's own gender issues. Bottom line, they are X-men. If there was an all-female Avengers book, no one would expect them to call it The Avengerettes. I'm just glad Brian Wood is making the book, and it's probably the closest to Logan's Angels of Fury as I'm ever going to get.

Besides the interactions between Logan and Young Scott, I'd have to say the most interesting thing about All-new X-Men is surprisingly the Young and Old Angel. I'm going to assume that at some point in the next few issues Young Jean will take Young Angel's memories and put them in to Old Angel which would help him to remember the man he used to be. It's a great way to return the classic angel without the brooding Horseman of Apocalypse years. I don't think I've ever seen Angel this interesting before. Well done Bendis.

Could have been worse; Marvel could have called it Mutant Divas and had J. Scott Campbell draw a porny cover.

Really, don't fool yourself, there's going to be plenty of porny covers for this book. Seriously though, how the fuck are you going to call an all female book, X-Men and not sound misogynistic while saying that it's misogynistic to call it X-Women? This opinion is brought to you by a HUGE Dave Sim fan by the way. I don't go in for the spoilers and the solicitations so I have no ideas about this book outside of Antony's Twitter posts about it last month but I'm all for it. The only upsetting thing that I've heard was from this episode where it was said that Jubilee is the POV or 'main' character. If this was pre-vampire Jubes I'd be all for it but not now. I'll really reserve judgement until it sees print but I'm not in love with the idea of a Jubilee book.

P.S. Great episode this month folks! Mistress was particularly animated this month which is always better for the show.

P.P.S. I'm not the most vigilant of forumites so if there exists what I'm requesting please point me in the right direction but I can't seem to locate a reading list for Days of X-Men Past issue list. Last month I missed the Mystique book but got the rest. I like to read them prior to listening and I remember a list from the old forum but can't find it here. Keep up the great work!

Oh yeah, P.P.P.S. All New X-Men ( although the worst X-Name for a book ever ) is the best fucking thing to happen to the X-Fuckers in a long fucking time. All the "BMB is going to fuck the X-Universe up" talk I've heard is horseshit. I'm looking forward to Uncanny's relaunch like crazy now even though I despise Cyclops.

With "X-Women"...I can see both sides, really. I like that they're not making light of the story idea or trying to completely sexify it up to Danger Girl proportions, but treating it like a normal superhero adventure book, including keeping the classic title. On the other, I do agree with Antony that a name like "X-Women" shouldn't be demeaning and the feminine shouldn't be shamed or shunned. Ultimately, I just realize the real reason why it's named that--because of copyright--and move on.

Savage Wolverine...the first issue was fun enough, but it is kinda light. I'll probably wait for the trade--I kind-of doubt that the story will end up being as thick as Sheena's thighs when put together, but I hope it's enough to sink your teeth into, if you know what I mean...

Totally with Antony on Cho's art. Cho is one of those guys that does superheroic cheesecake RIGHT. Not only does he know the real anatomy of his characters inside and out, but he makes his women look both feminine and curvy while still having a strength/power in their physicality that makes you feel like these girls could totally whoop your ass.

It's been my experience that plenty of gay men are for the boobies--they just tend to see them as goofy funbags instead of fetishizing them like us guys who are into the feminine persuasion.

I don't know, I didn't have any problems reading through Cable and X-Force so far.

I love Mohawk Storm. :D

"This is the coolest Jean Grey ever." Morrison's Jean still ranks the highest, but it's pretty close.

Good episode, guys. :)

Count me in for the Tidy Fund!

For those scoring at home, the characters at the end of X-Factor #250 are: , , , , , and . And if you're not, try flowers.

The "metaphor" in Cable & X-Force is more than a bit heavy-handed. Even comics books can save something for the subtext, Mr. Hopeless.

Remember, Beast can't be a monkey because he doesn't have a tail.

I know I'm late to the party, but I just listened to the episode. Great job as always. I thought we saw a nice crop of X books this month.

As for All New X-Men: alll those word ballons were actually taken off random forum posts. Bendis talked about this in an interview somewhere. So all those comments were random fanboy rants. We may be looking into the Emma Frost message too much.

Looks like the X-Nation Tidy Fund (three whole bucks) is heading off to Seth Peck for X-Men #41 as Pixie used her dust.
