Read Infestation 2 G.I. Joe 1 and 2 and I really enjoyed it. I liked the use of Raptor, Razor Claw and Cesspool by the Interrogator. I also enjoyed what they did with Crystal Ball in these two issues. Yo Joe.

I fell for it with the first Infestation. I was not falling for it with this one and decided to pick the properties that I liked like G.I. Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and 30 Days of Night.

I read Avengers vs. X-Men #0 and I liked it. If you're a regular Avengers and X-Men reader then you might find that this doesn't add much for you, but I haven't read an Avengers or X-Men comic in a very long time. I don't know whats been going on with either team. I have no idea what the X-Men's status is in the Marvel U. And I know nothing about this Hope character. So I felt this was a pretty good prelude to the coming mini-series.

Didn't read the Zero issue, but just picked up #1 at my LCS. Read it in the parking lot. The series looks to be pretty good based upon this issue. I don't read Avengers and haven't read X-Men in years. So i have to read some back story to fully enjoy the crossover, but i think it will probably be good as a standalone

I just attended the Avengers Vs Xmen launch party at one of my LCBS and got issue #1 signed by Matt Fraction :D. Also got him to sign my trade of Immortal Iron Fist.

I attended an A vs. X lauch party at my LCS too. LOL!!!
I picked up issue 1 (Avengers cover) and (blank cover). There was an artist there named Jim Giar and he was sketching for FREE!!!!
So I go me a very cool looking Spiderman on my A vs. X book. I also picked up 2 issues of Fear itself for a buck, yep 2 issues for a dollar. :o
There was a costum contest and raffles and give-a-ways. (I did not win)
And I managed to snag me a button to show my Avenger support. The LCS also had back issues for 50% off and 20% off all Marvel trades. A good time was had by all.
(going to put the sketch cover on the StarJoes facebook page today after work). ;)

Big day for me as I've been traveling so much I haven't been by my shop in several weeks.

Snake Eyes #11-I'm digging this story and can certainly see how Snakes and SS will be pairing up going forward. Look forward to getting more of Snake's origin, as SS dropped some interesting comments that are different from the Hamaverse for sure. Art was OK.

Cobra #11-The "end" of Cobra Command. Great stuff from Costa. I still hate Savane. Interesting to see that several major Cobra players split to the four winds, especially what happens with Bludd (and what he does to a greenshirt). I love this book.

GI Joe #12-The "aftermath?" Holy crap, what a start! Nice to see Wil Rosado back on art duties, I like his style a lot, especially compared to the Photoshopped look that Cal had as "Cobra Command" went on.

I hate not saying more, but don't want to play spoiler. I know there are some folks out there that aren't big on what Dixon's been writing, but I feel like we're going somewhere unlike with the MASS device business.

Few more books to read later...
