I read Suicide Squad #7 and it was awesome. What a cliffhanger with Harly getting shot at the end. I cant wait for the next issue.

I picked up Green Lantern Corps #8 yesterday. I haven't been reading it and wanted to get caught up with it again because GL is one of my favorite characters. Its an okay issue, but the ending makes it fizzle for me. They introduce the beginning of a story arc with the Alpha Lanterns and I'm just not into it. The Alpha Lanterns are one part of the Green Lantern mythos since the rebirth that I don't care for. I could do without them.

Same here, I really enjoyed Flash Point too. I read the issues when they came out (thanks Ryan) and I picked up some of the trades.

Hit my LCS after a 2 week hiatus. I got a stack of books and found out they were able to order the Groo "artist edition" IDW book for me. Good times indeed.

Snake Eyes #12: This was a "bridge" issue. Not related to "Cobra Command," it does line up the new title and story. Art was not great. Will be curious to here you guys review later, don't want to say much otherwise.

RAH #177: More blue ninjas....almost done. Ron Frenz filled in on this issue for Shannon, he did a nice job with Sal Buscema inks. One of the things I'm struggling with this book overall right now is the timeline. The Marvel era Joes would at least be in their 50s and those that served in Vietnam could be into their 60s (like Hama). There's a throwaway reference in the book that Snakes was burned in a helicopter accident IN THE DESERT. While I can get used to Peter Parker always being in his 20s, it just doesn't work for me for RAH. I'll get over it.

Activity #5: I can't say much more about this book, other that you really should check it out.

More books to read later...

Does anyone know of any good online stores to pick up back issues? I'm way behind on DC stuff, G.I. Joe, Cobra, and Snake Eyes. When the New 52 launched and as Cobra Civil War was starting up, stuff happened and I just got way behind on buying comics. LCSes in my area have some of the back issues that I want, but with holes in the runs. And since I'm looking for a lot of issues I'm trying to find good discounts.

honestly for back issues I use my local LCS or I look for them at a comic convention. A lot of back issues can be scored in $1.00 bins. I'm not sure how far DCBS goes with back issues, a month or two maybe? Ryan may know.
