Ryan and I were selected to run a Cleveland Chapter of the Coil (GI Joe club). We are looking for active members. Here is a little info about the Coil.

With all of your choices of sites out there, why join the COIL?? Sure, there are other bigger sites, but we are not designed to compete with them. Sites like General's Joes, YoJoe, JBL, HissTank, The TerrorDrome do what they dovery well and we often share information and news with these sites, but our goal is to remain small, friendly, intimate and LOCAL. We are NOT a news site (although we do break some news from time to time), but rather we are a site that people come and discuss the hobby and how it effects us in the heartland. It is the small site experience where the COIL gives you a superior experience versus other regional midwest sites. Congrats on joining the Coil. I had heard your episode with the WOJM guys and I wish that we had something like that here. The Midwest area (particularly Ohio) has a lot of Joe fans. I remember in the early 2000s when the Joes were getting popular again, Ohio seemed to get a lot of the stuff first outside of California and Texas. I remember that there were a lot of auctions from that area of the country too on eBay.

I'm talking to other Joe fans in the community and we are looking to set up something soon for a get together. Something were we can talk Joe, Bring items to trade or sell to other collectors. Just have some fun and hang out and talk Joe. I'll keep posting here.
