Just got back from seeing Brave. It's good. Really good. It's also different then any Pixar film I can think of. It's not a tear jerker like several of their most recent films have been and frankly the main character isn't your typical hero of a Pixar film and I don't mean that just because it's a she. There's more I want to say but I don't really want to ruin anything for anyone. Mostly good stuff. If you like Pixar's stuff, go see it.
They also threw in a little note to Steve Jobs at the credits that made me choke up and there is a scene at the end of the credits that's kind of amusing.

My problem was Promethues wasn't the not getting answers but the seemingly random character motivations for some of the characters. Some of them do things that frankly make no sense. I left the no answers to really anything to it being left open for a prequel.
On a side note the trailer for Dredd looks sweet. I really like Karl Urban as a choice for that role.

I haven't watched the trailer yet, but I'm very interested in Judge Dredd. I hope they get it right. I plan to get some Judge Dredd trades. I always wanted to read more than I have of the character.

Just watched the new Ghost Rider and it um.... sucks. Ok thats not a fair review so here we go; Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence sucks a lot.

I absolutely love Ghost Rider also and except for the special effects of Ghost Rider himself and his bike, the first movie was really bad to the point that I have absolutely zero interest in seeing the second movie, even though it features my favorite Ghost Rider villain, Blackout.
