You can like or love mustard. That's fine. It's a food choice. It's not a religion. I don't like it.

JLA over Avengers. Avengers has only became a premier team in the last 5 years, while JLA has been "the team" from the beginning. Last show you were discuss the Autobot Chain of Command, here is my layout of the Command.

Optimus Prime
Prowl
Jazz
Ironhide

Prowl would be the official second in command, but as in All Hail Megatron in extreme circumstances Jazz would out rank Prowl for the second in command role.

Welcome to our corner of the forums here. Glad to have you on board.

Don't listen to Chuck, he doesn't know Transformers that well. He just likes Ironhide a lot so he wants him to be next in command.

I thought that Prowl ranked next, and now that you mentioned Jazz, that makes a lot of sense also because I started reading the digital Fall of Cybertron #1 last night, and it appeared that Jazz was running second in command to Prime in that issue.

I'm curious where Grimlock fits into this because I know he's a commander of sorts. I'll have to check out the TF wiki to see if they have a chain of command listing for the Autobots and Decepticons.

Thanks for the info and again, welcome to the forums.

Great show as always guys. I would love to come on and do a show with you two someday, unfortunately it wasn't in the cards for me this time.

As far as the transformers rank thing:

I would think that Ironhide in top three, though to be honest, I would put him at three.

Prime is obviously the leader

Ironhide seems to be the guy who makes sure things get done. Basically he reminds me of a Master Chief, or Master Sergeant, basically the highest ranking enlisted guy, the guy the officers turn to to actually get stuff done when they can't cover everything themselves. He doesn't say "I'm telling you to do this" he says "Prime told me to have you do this." or at least that's the message he conveys. This would put him around third in command.

Bumblebee makes a good pointman on missions. The guy who everyone trusts, and everyone at least respects, if not likes. You give him something to do, he'll either do it or honestly tell you why it's not in his power. He'll still do it anyways though, because he's a good soldier. This might have been the reason the Autobots elected him their new leader after Prime left.

Grimlock is the leader of the Dinobots obviously, and for a while in the Marvel Comics, was actually the leader of the Autobots after the death of Optimus Prime. However he was replaced for his rather brutal tactics and heavy handed rulings. While I like the cartoon version of him a lot, I'm glad they haven't made him a moron in the comics.

You guys just haven't found the "right" mustard yet. There are so many different types and flavors out there. I used to hate mustard until I tried some honey ale homemade stuff at a local summer festival back when I was 10 or 11 years old. I bought two jars and kept a steady supply of soft pretzels in the house to go with it.

Episode 75 - Sucking Up to the Listeners

I love mustards and the variety therein. I do like ketchup also but not as much. We usually have one bottle of ketchup and like 3 different mustards. Just about finished a jar of horseradish mustard I got at a winery near the finger lakes that has quite a bit of kick to it. Same place I sampled a hot sauce that made me literally loose my voice for like 10 seconds.

Mustard fan here, too...all kinds, especially the stone ground types.

Horseradish? Even better.

I have tried a lot of kinds of mustard, and haven't really liked any of them. I won't turn down a burger with ketchup and mustard on it, but it can't be a lot of mustard.

I'm not a fan of horseradish either. I like my Prime Rib just as it is.

I'm sure somewhere there is an official ranking for the Autobots and Decepticons. Don't have teh time right now to look since I'm at work, but I'll look into it and post my findings. I'll try to confirm with more than just a wiki page. I wonder if the original file cards on the characters have the rankings listed or stated in the description of the character.

I'm not saying Ironhide can't be #2, and I'm not saying I wouldn't want him to be. He's one of my favorite Autobots. I just don't think he is #2. I was talking with Chuck and really when you think about it, Ultra-Magnus is probably the real #2 since Prime gave him teh matrix in the movie to be the next leader.

Okay I took a few minutes from work to look up some file cards (which for me is the original intention for who the characters are supposed to be).

Some people were selling some original cards on ebay for each character and I was able to read the card with the zoom in on the picture. Here is what I found:

Grimlock - Dinobot Commander (that's it as far as it stating what he is in charge of or how he ranks)

Ultra Magnus - City Commander - stated that he was uncomfortable with the leadership role, but executes flawlessly as a commander.

Bumblebee - Espionage - works as a messenger and spy, and looks up to the larger bots like Optimus and Prowl.

Prowl - Military Strategist

Ironhide - Security - He is the body guard of Optimus Prime and this is why you rarely see Prime without Ironhide there.

Jazz - Special Operations Agent - In the file card he is referred to as Optimus Prime's right hand man.

Based on this information I would say that Jazz is the #2 person in charge after Optimus Prime.

Isn't it Hot Rod leading the second group. I mean I know they're the same character, but still.

I can't remember, we're Hot rod and Rodimus the same character in the toy line, like in the cartoon?

I'm really digging Rodimus in More Than Meets the Eye.

First of all fantastic episode. It was very cool that each host had a unique and different approach to this. I absolutely loved it (hmmmmm, might have to steal this idea for DC Noise 200). I also love that you gave props again to my fallen brother Eric Martin from DC Noise. I loved Eric very much and it is great that he helped to light the spark under your asses to put out Star Joes. Ryan and Chuck your are awesome and I am honored to call you my friends. See you in Baltimore :)
