MATCH 6:

Captain Mal (Serenity) VS. Han SOLO - (Millenium Falcon)



This is only taking the Captains in a match. It does not include their ship, though by all means speculate on that as well. It also does not include their crew, or partner (Chewie is NOT a sidekick btw). Character art both done by Adam Hughes.

everyone might hate me on this, but I'm going Mal on this one.

Han is the by far the better pilot, but we aren't taking their ships into account. (I think hands down the Millenium Falcon is obviously the better ship)

Both Captains are accomplished smugglers, both have been tortured heroically to save others, both have a strong sense of honor under their gruff exterior....while both had military training (Han with the Imperial Army before freeing Chewie) Mal is the experienced war veteran, the better and quicker pistol shot, and I think the better hand to hand fighter.

This is like asking me which child I like more,or in this case which of my kids can beat the other one up.

I love both captains (and, Robert, I hate that you took my comments and used them against me...who are you, Chuck? LOL).

I know my fandom might be thought of here, but that's not the reason for my pick.

I'm going to go with Han because Han would shoot Mal before the battle even started....BECAUSE HAN ALWAYS SHOOTS FIRST!!!


If we're looking at crew then it's tougher because Han's true crew for a long time was just Chewie, so they were outnumbered. But if we include Luke, Leia, and the droids into account....and just for fun throw Lando and Obi-Wan in there, then the Serenity crew doesn't have a chance.

I like both of them and would think it an even match, but unfortunately Mal would try to drop some wisdom on Han trying to talk his way out and Han would pull a Han and shoot first. The End

I also would go with Han Solo, I would pick him for all the reasons listed above and he is also Indiana Jones.... Come on, he's Dr. Jones.

Don't forget Mal's ruthlessness when it's needed. he totally kicked that guy into the ship's engine turbine then flew off. I think the example above asking that guy if he was armed, then shooting him is another example. He does what it takes to get the job done.
