Anyone watch the new TMNT animated show last night or today? I watched the sneak peak 30 minute one last night. Will watch the full hour today. Just curious on people's thoughts.

Watching it right now and I enjoy it very much. I feared the comedy was going to be too tweeny like much of Nick's programing, but i'm really liking it. I just don't like Don's diastema.

Online with Bantor2 on this one...caught it this morning with the kids and was expecting quite a bit of kid humor, ended up laughing and getting into it more than they did.

I watched it with my kids today. I really enjoyed it over all and am just glad there's a TMNT to watch. I loved the humor, and how it feels like it's starting at the beginning without all the baggage.

They really jumped into the Krang story line right away. Which I think they could have eased into that a little more. The Krang brains kind of freaked out my kids at first. But they are young too. The Krang dialogue got annoying by the end, though I get the gag and thought it was funny at times. The Snake Weed was just bizarre and I could have done without that whole thing.

I liked the "First Pizza" experience and how they didnt fight as a team that well. Leaves a lot of room for growth.
I LOVED Splinter's humor and dialogue, but I can't stand the way he looks. It's going to have to grow on me, but I really dont like it.

The fighting and movement was better than I expected for a 3d weekly cartoon. I hope it keeps up that quality and pushes it even more. I was surprised to see Raph win the fight in the beginning against Leo, but that's cool it gives him room to grow as well.

I've bought all the figures, except April and Splinter. But the kids and I are having a blast playing with them. I like the sculpts and articulation. Certainly better articulation than the classic figures, thought I think I still prefer the old look or the 2000's look.

yeah over all I dig it.

Overall, I was very happy and will be watching the rest of the season. A little concerned with the quality of Splinters CGI model, but we'll see.

I'm getting the sketch I did for Chris Campbell colored up. I'll show you all as soon as I have it done. probably by this weekend.

Here are just the flats to separate the colors before lighting and other color elements come into play.

I added a title and background to the scanned file I had of Chris' sketch as well.
