Great time today at VA Con hanging with Grubb, Keith, Shannon, and a slew of other guys.

Jacob spent quite a bit of time at Shannon's table "sharing" some space. He didn't sell any sketches, unfortunately.

Keith by chance did you have a wife and small child in tow? Cause there was someone who was talking to Shannon and it looked like he had started a sketch right when I was leaving.

Dragon*Con is this weekend, and the article attached is why I would never take a kid to this show...crazy stuff abounds for sure!

I'm slightly shocked but at the same time, from what it seems Dragon Con is turning into with how it's just getting crazier and crazier every year I'm not really surprised that much.

I'm not saying Dragon Con is a debouchery filled hedonistic experience. It's just seeming getting more and more crowded with a lot of more crazy attached to it. Which I'm sure is fun

Baltimore last week, VA Con again today! It'll be light on guests (and attendees), but always fun to hang out. Matt Slay wants me and Jacob to sign his RAH 180, which he had Hama, Trimpe, and Shannon sign at Baltimore...ha!

Anyone going to Mid-Ohio Comic Con? I believe it's Sept 28-30. I plan to go on Saturday Sept 29, I'll either have my StarJoes shirt on or ID Badge. If you see me say hi.

Richard Cox, who did my Scarlett piece at Heroes, will be attending NC Con in November but will not have a table. He's taking a few commissions prior to the show:

Just heard Bill Willingham on CGS. He has his own con starting next year called Fabletown and Beyond. It's a con for all comics of a similar theme of fantasy/make-believe/mythic stories. Some examples are Mouseguard, Mice Templar, Stuff of Legend, and of course Fables, to name just a few.

Sounds like a con I would love to go to and sounds like a perfect con to take a spouse to. If only it was closer than Minnesota, but would so love to be there for it.
