man any one see the new iron man trailer im getting really pumped for this one April cant come soon enough!!!!!

So I just spent two hours cruising ebay. Didn't bid on a damn thing, but found some great old memories. This is becoming my new favorite thing. Trying to remember some of the obscure toys I had...or just lesser known lines that weren't as prominent but I enjoyed greatly. Did anyone else have any Lone Ranger 3 3/4 toys from the early 80's?

I had the Lone Ranger and Silver as a kid. I think the Lone Ranger had a spring action arm for drawing his gun, but I might be thinking of my Indiana Jones figure with the spring arm for his whip.

I didn't have any Lone Ranger stuff, but I had a bunch of the "Best of the West" series from Marx. Anybody else have any of these? I think they stopped producing them in the mid 70s.

So Jacob and I went to see Michael Golden speak tonight at the Poe Museum (Poe was born here in Richmond). It's the 170th anniversary of "The Tell Tale Heart" and they are displaying several original pages Golden illustrated in the mid 70s and he did an hour or so Q&A on his life and work. We really enjoyed hearing him speak, he's lead a very interesting life to say the least.

After the talk, he did a signing...turns out he was available to take a few commissions! I didn't have my sketchbook as I had no idea that was possible. I did talk to him about Heroes, so I think I'll have something to show here come June. :D

That is awesome. Would have been cool to have seen that.

On a side note, "The Tell Tale Heart" was one of the stories that got me excited to read as a kid.
