I can't put The Mighty Orbots over Transformers, but I did like the Orbots. I'd probably even put them second behind Transformers. And it seems to me that mighty Orbots is a little more obscure of a show, so Shannon still gets points as far as I'm concerned.

I have no memory whatsoever of mighty orbots.

I've now listened to this interview twice and plan on listening to it again on my flight from Tampa to Baltimore.

Megas XL was hilarious. You had to be in your mid 20's-30's to get the majority of the jokes. I seem to remember the guy who was piloting the robot thing was using one of those old massive NES super controllers.

There are a lot of anime series with robot things. The best known ones off the top of my head:

Gundam
Votoms
Evangelion
Patlabor
Gurren Lagan (it's one of the craziest series I've ever seen. By the end the robots are planet sized)

It depends on which Gundam series you watch. The original from the 80's is pretty good as is 08th MS Team (i might have the title wrong). All the other series are either strange or just plain annoy me.
