I agree. They are just great swords and sorcery type tales for those that like fantasy world stories. You don't need to know anything about World of Warcraft to enjoy them.

I got my issue #1 signed by Walt Simonson and I had him draw me Broll from the story (even though he didn't draw the book, I still wanted a drawing of one of the characters by him).

I got my WoW figures pretty cheap, and I got the 3 main characters from the comic series, so I especially liked getting those. I am hoping to be able to display all of my WoW figures after I make some room. I think I have like 7 or 8 figures of WoW.

I have never played the card game.

I would love a 10-15 minute segment show and then at the end put it all together as one movie like they did for GI Joe Resolute and those Clone Wars cartoons. But I definitely want it to be that high quality CG animation that the intros and cutscenes to the games are done in. I want some Star Wars ones done in that style of animation also.

In the Wrath of the Lick King expansion, you got to run a quest with Varian (Lo' Gosh) where Broll and Valeera are in the mix but there is no interection with the two of them. It was just a cool to see them in the game after reading the comics.

So I've been playing WoW on and off since 2004 and for the first time an expansion has come out and I'm just not interested. I think the game has finally lost appeal for me. No dig at all on anyone still enjoying it. I did get Guild Wars 2 and am having fun playing that casually.

So far my impression of Mists is that I like it. They've tossed in a lot more voice overs and they're doing a lot more cut scene type things like they did with Lich King. No matter what people might want to think, while the Panda's are amusing, they're not a complete joke.

Plus I'm digging Pet Battles even though I've never played anything Pokemon in my life.

Oh, Borderlands 2 is pretty flipping amazing to!

That's cool Grubb. I'm definitely not a Panda hater. WoW has always been a tongue in cheek, joke laden environment so I find it kind of weird when people have a problem with their addition.

The Pandarians in WoW predate the movies by years. Like 5-10 years older

So being about 3 bars away from 90 in wow I feel like this xpac is a lot more like wrath then cata. I've enjoyed the leveling experience even though I've heard a lot of whining from my guild about it. To be fair though most of my guild are hard core raiders and just want to get to it. I'm not sure how some of the rep grinds and profession grinds are going to go but I'm looking forward to them :)

I've always liked leveling.. at least in new content. I think I like the single continent xpac vs cata all over the place. Interesting discovering a new place and exploring. Doesn't feel revolutionary but it does feel very smooth and polished.

I like the change to storylines rather than a number for the quest achievement as well!

Great googly moogly! I got my warrior to 90 in WoW last night and for the the first time in a long time I actually feel overwhelmed by what's available to do in this game. I 'm really interested in the legendary quest line so I think I'm going to focus on getting geared for raids and worry about rep grinds and finishing zone quests later.

Heres the kicker. You need to rep grind now if your going after valor point gear. It's tied to the reps of the 4 new major factions.

Some of the new reps are fun, some of them suuuucccccckkkk.

Overall I continue to love this xpac a month into it's life cycle. :)

Star Wars The Old republic goes free to play on the 15th. Anybody going back to play or trying it for the first time?

I just don't have a PC computer that can handle games anymore. I just have my little netbook, which is used for recording the show and my iPad. My wife has an iMac which I use a bit, mostly for image adjustments for the website, but I don't think they made it for Macs.

I wish they would come out with a version for XBox or PS3. Then I could play.
