"GI Joe Field Manual" was discussed on the "Spec Ops" podcast. It's a collection of art models from the Sunbow series/comic commecials/movie. I'm really looking forward to it.

If you're not following Atkins' art blog, you really should. He's done some redesign for Snake Eyes. Really cool stuff, love how he's incorporate the Uzi.

I can't see any reason why a fan of Joe would not be picking up that manual. Sounds awesome.

G.I.Joe Retaliation Snake-Eyes & Roadblock Carded Images
by Jay Cochran in GI Joe at 10:05 PM on 2012.03.26

The GIJoeClub gives us a look at the upcoming G.I.Joe Retaliation Snake-Eyes figure in packaging. Check out the image below.

Sears.com also gives a look at the Retaliation Roadblock figure in packaging.

Sears also has on their site Duke and Cobra Commander, none of which are actually listed in-stock as of yet, but it is likely only a matter of time before they do. It should also be noted these are listed as being sold by Kmart which Sears owns. So when these do actually start showing up at retail, Kmart stores may be a place people want to start checking first.

I hope that they don't give up on making the other G.I. Joe figures in favor of going exclusively with the movie figures. the figures that they've been making are awesome and I want more of it.

I posted over in "Ammo Dump," but if you're reading this topic you should be reading "Cobra Command," then the "aftermath" that started in GI Joe #12. There is some really fun stuff going on right now in the IDW-verse.

New G.I. Joe: Retaliation Image Storm Shadow

A new movie image from Paramount Pictures' G.I. Joe: Retaliation of Byung-hun Lee as the Cobra Ninja Stormshadow was released via dailyblam.

The film will feature the G.I. Joe Team coming into a conflict with Zartan, Storm Shadow and Firefly all serving under the newly released Cobra Commander. Zartan (who is last seen in disguise as the President of the United States) frames all G.I. Joe operatives as traitors and wipes most of them out in a sneak attack. Zartan and the Commander now have all the world leaders under Cobra's control, with warheads headed towards innocent populaces. Badly beaten, outnumbered, and outgunned the Joes make a desperate plan to expose the truth and stop Cobra from taking over the world.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation opens on June 29th and stars Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Elodi Yung, Channing Tatum, RZA, DJ Cotrona, Ray Stevenson, Joseph Mazzello, Walton Goggins and DeRay Davis.

The Cobra Commander helmet and face plate looks cool. I hope they have a good costume for Firefly. He's one of my favorites and I'm looking forward to seeing him on the screen.
