Mattel posted this statement on their website this week:

"Toy Fans,

We know there have been some quality-related issues over the last few months and wanted to tell you we take them seriously and what is being done to address them.

We've recently met with our suppliers and shared some of your concerns. Like all manufacturers, our production practices are proprietary but we can tell you that a number of critical topics were covered, including new ideas to improve production quality consistency, reviewing our materials development process, additional design review steps, more stringent testing, and supplementary technician training.

Please know that we do listen to your comments and they are important to us. In fact, during the meeting we presented some of the comments from our Fan Forums so everyone could better understand the issues we’re seeing at the consumer end. We're working as hard as we can to improve processes, and because we consider this of critical importance, it’s at the top of our “to do” list."

Mattel has released new carded images for their upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Slush Head and Mighty Spector figures on their Facebook page. Both figures will be released in May 2012.

Not really a fan of the Mighty Spector or Slush Head. Sorry bro just not into the NA stuff. As a figure the good good, ill say that.

It's cool, I can agree that the NA toon and old figures are hard to swallow but the story and some of the characters are both ok and these characters in classics look good

WWE Wrestler Triple H is no stranger to barbarian-like gimmicks. He's appeared dressed as an ancient warrior for various skits and entrances over the years. Wrestlemania is the "Super Bowl" of wrestling and most of the really popular wrestlers come with particularly spectacular entrances.

However, as he made his Wrestlemania appearance to end the Undertaker's 19-0 Wrestlemania streak last night, Triple H came out of an elaborate Castle Grayskull-like structure. Green Castle?--Well...it's more of a green bust of a skeletal warrior figure that's been used on Triple H merchandise. Skull-faced front?--Not quite a skull, but a skeletal figure's head. Entranceway is the mouth--check!

Was Triple H and the WWE creative team inspired by Castle Grayskull or like Madonna dressing up as Bubble Power She-Ra, is this merely a coincidence?

I don't think that Triple H's entrance is a total coincidence. I bet someone on the staff is a He-Man fan and came up with that design. Man, I didn't think Undertaker would see his streak end before he hit 20 wins. Thats kind of a shock. I thought he would get that big milestone for all of his years of service with the company. And he can't get that one back. He won't keep wrestling for another 20 years.

Uh, Undertaker beat HHH. He is 20-0. HHH also used to have a gimmick maybe 5-10 years ago where he was the King of Kings and was all Conan looking with some of his entrances and promo shots. He's also a HUGE Motorhead fan and I'm willing to bet he's also into bands like Saxon and Man o War which use..guess what..Conan/Barbarian type looks. I'm thinking that's where it comes from over He-Man.
