Conventions you're attending this year

I know we had a con thread in the old forum, thought I'd revive it here.

We'll be at VA Comicon in Richmond this Sunday as you can't beat free admission. It's not a true con, but Acme Comics in Greensboro, NC will have 10 artists on hand for Free Comic Book Day with free sketches all day, feels like a con to me! Heroes is on for June, planning on Baltimore if work doesn't get in the way in September. We'll wrap up the year with NC Comicon in November.

I know we've talked about a get together in Baltimore, but if you'll be in Charlotte or Raleigh let me know.

I'm going to Shelby's Collectible Toy Show this Saturday in Portland, and then one month later i'm going to Stumptown Comicfest where i get to meet Stan Sakai

New York Comic Con...i usually hit this every year

Star Wars Celebration...working on this one

Dragon*Con...i am trying a double trip combined with Star Wars Celebration.....they are a week apart in the same general area(Southeast)

Not sure about anything else yet

Columbus, OH toy show on April 15th.

Baltimore Comic Con.

I may end up going to Ohio Comic Con, not sure yet. And Columbus toy show will happen again this year, just not sure on the exact date. I may go twice this year. Its close and lots of fun for a day trip.

Otakon in July
Celebration 6 in August
Baltimore Comic Con in September

Annapolis is suppossed to have another show in October so that as well if it happens

Atlanta and Orlando aren't really that close. It's around an 8 hour drive at least. Of course if you fly it's cheaper

I'll keep an eye out. I'm really going so I can have Matt do another sketch for me but look for a fat, tall, long haired blonde guy. I'll most likely wear either my 501st or Terrapin Base shirt. Either that or something metallica/megadeth/dream theater related. It's like a 3 hour drive give or take and I'm aiming to get there around opening.

They announced the artist list for Celebration 6 in august. I'm sure it'll change between here and then but there are a few names I recognize and of course the mighty Dave Dorman. That guy I'm going to have to meet. Not just cause of his awesome star wars art but he did a bunch of covers for Palladium Books RPG games over the years. Love him love him love him.

Chuck reminded me and I went back and checked, COIL Con is the 8th. The 15th is still locked into my head as the 2nd date choice. Guess what day I wanted. HA! Sorry.
