BATTLE GROUND!!! The ultimate geek debate "Who would win?"

Alright, I know this is Ryan and Chuck's boards, but I'm going to request a "Sticky" and we can see where this goes.

Nothing too structured, but lets keep it organized and simple.

I'll kick this off with a "who would win in a fight?" Lets see at least 3 responses on that pairing, then someone is free to suggest another VERSUS match. That way we don't get dozens of matches going on at the same time. IF you want to comment on a previous vs, by all means toss in your vote and be heard, but start your response with the current battle so it's easy to see which match we are currently on. Put in your vote, but you got to give atleast a brief explanation. I'll do my best to keep track. As soon as a new match is declared I'll put together a banner like the one below.

First Match: Snake Eyes vs. Leonardo

As much as I'm tired of Snake and love Leo, Snake wins. He's older, way more experienced and ultimately just guns Leo down.

Yea, it kills me to say it, because I love Leo, but we are talking one on one vs. Shredder level here. Whether you are talking Mirage, movie, IDW, cartoon, whatever... The story is always teamwork and that none of the individual turtles is experienced enough to take him on alone. I think that's an equivalent for fighting Snake Eyes. On his own, it would be too much for Leo to handle.

Snake Eyes wins.

I would have to agree with the previous 2 posts, Snake Eyes wins this battle. For most of the reasons stated. He is older and would have had more training. Leo is mostly seen (and trained) fighting as a team, Snake Eyes carries an Uzi and would use it. I do love the TMNT but gotta give this one to Snake Eyes.

I'm not a Snake Eyes fan, but he wins this fight hands down. Leo lacks the experience and while he's a trained ninja, Snake Eyes is a trained ninja and battle proven soldier. Leo may be able to deflect a thrust of Snake Eyes' sword, but not a .45 cal. rapid fire barrage from his uzi.

And since Snake Eyes enjoys hunting rabbits with his bare hands, Usagi Yojimbo better watch out as well!

Love this idea, and maybe on the show we'll mention some of the match ups on here. It can be named after Robert. Like "The Atkins Battground".

On this match up I have to go with Snake-Eyes. He just has a lot more weaponry available to him that he is proficient at. I think if it was just a sword to sword battle, then it would be a lot closer fight, and Leonardo may actually win, but allowed their full arsenal and capabilities, I have to go with Snake-Eyes.

Predaking vs. Voltron

Match 2: Predaking VS. VOLTRON

I love VOLTRON, hands down I think he wins because of the sword and the various weapons. Launching rocket heads, flame thrower cat mouths. You know Voltron is gonna cut Predaking in half with that Blazin' Sword

Hand to hand in robot mode, I think Predaking wins without weapons, Even as separate cats I think predaking wins. But combined, and with the blazing sword. I think Voltron pulls it out.


The other argument for Predaking is that he isn't piloted by anyone. It's a robot intelligence and probably less prone to injury. If Pidge gets knocked unconscious, Voltron is gonna have a hard time of it.

Pidge gets one look at Predaking and pisses his pants so badly that it sorts out the control panel in his lion. With the green lion being unresponsive they can't form the blazing sword, so Predaking wins.

At first I thought Voltron, but then I thought of predaking's size and ferocity and it made me reconsider. But ultimately I give it to Voltron, who wins by cutting Predaking in half with the big blazing sword.

Voltron all the way. Pred is just a robeast to team Voltron and Blazing Sword would just end the match.

It seems Predaking vs. Voltron was kind of split, but leaning towards Voltron's blazing sword for the win!

Match 3:

Thundercats MUMM-RA vs The Galactic Emperor/ Darth Sidious



Both Combatants run around looking like hooded dead people.

Mumm-Ra - Transformation ability to become strong and powerful, backed by Ancient Spirits of Evil, and can shoot power blasts from his hands, flight, sorcerery.

Emperor/ Darth Sidious- an evil Lord of the Sith, can manipulate powerful men and entire galaxies, Force powers including, choking, lightning blasts, mind control.
