Wow this was fantastic guys!
Just some thoughts I jotted down while listening:
- So cool hearing about him apprenticing to Neal Adams
- To sit and work next to Romita and Trimpe!
- Interesting to think about how Roy Thomas' approach to being an editor may have played a big role in making Bronze Age Marvel what it was. And a lot of these guys including Englehart, moved over to DC and were the reason late Bronze Age and Crisis-era DC has so much classic material.
- Creator rights and the difference between what is legal and what is "right" to do on a.. I think he called it a "person to person" level. Really makes me think some more about where I stand on the whole issue.
- the man seems to have good taste and sensibilities about what makes a good superhero movie (no surprise really); loved hearing him talk about the failure of Green Lantern.
- really interesting about the asst editor at Marvel being told to stop asking about the Ultraverse.
- man would have his ideas for West Coast Avengers been awesome
- really respect Noob's honest thank you at the end and him freaking out in the outtakes made me laugh
- Englehart seems like one awesome guy.

Great job guys. That was an excellent interview.

Great job, guys. Loved the interview. I totally didn't even realize ALL of the things he has worked on in the industry. I knew he did a lot, but no idea.

Great coverage of his comics history, and some great inside stories.

Oh, and, X, it's fine if he likes Tank Girl, but I noticed you didn't tell him it's your #1 comic book movie. Before you call me out for mocking you, you need to reveal your full hand. It doesn't do you any good in poker if you have an Ace, King, Queen, and Jack if your 5th card is a 2. It still ends up being a crap hand.

I didn't pick on you for liking Tank Girl. I picked on you for making it your #1.

Well, far be it from me to allow facts to stand in the way of my arguments!

Hmm I usually win these fights, I guess the yelling doesn't come across in type ...

I mean ...

I USUALLY WIN THESE FIGHTS, I GUESS THE YELLING DOESN'T COME ACROSS ... ah, never mind.

Give me one small vice. I LOVED TANK GIRL! I admit it. Doesn't mean that Avengers wasn't great and every day since I saw it, I get more and more angry about the Green Lantern Movie messing up my chance at a Aquaman Movie.

Beast Machines still blow.

Ryan is right. Beast Machines/Wars is every bit as good as G1, that is why IDW just relaunched their series again.

OH WAIT A MINUTE ...
