I don't know about "worst." The villains are rather lame, but I like the interaction between the Avengers team and Bagley really delivered on the art. I think at most it kinda squandered the opportunity to have a good "jumping on-point" for new readers who might get into the comics from the Avengers movie. I think it would have worked a lot better if they got some new blood on the writing.

yeah, OK, so not the worst comic ever, but I thought this was without a doubt the worst Bendis comic I've ever read. The characters were way off, and I thought Bagley's art was pretty unremarkable. This reminded me a lot of the sort of kid's comics we get here in the UK (or used to until Disney vetoed it). It felt like a Marvel Adventures title to me

I think Bendis on Avengers has dried up. I have not enjoyed his Avengers and New Avengers starting with the Fear Itself tie-ins. I'm glad he is leaving Avengers so we can get some new and fresh writers on the the books.

I heard lots about it being a terrible issue and when I read it it was simply sorta meh. Not terrible.
