The animation quality for Avengers has taken a bit of a dive, which is unfortunate, but that usually happens after a while. Kids tend not to notice the difference.

Ultimate Spiderman was quite a bit different. Its very upbeat and cartoony. It doesn't look like anime at all, but the tone totally reminds me FLCL or something like that. It was used to get the origin story out of the way and introduce the main characters quickly.

Yeah, Avengers was...okay. It really didn't feel as good as the first episode of the first season.

Ultimate Spider-Man actually was WAY more entertaining, surprisingly enough. I mean, Drake Bell had some awful reads, but he also didn't have some snapping good dialogue either ("My name is PETER PARKER, and I'm SPIDER-MAN, and I go and fight BAD GUYS!" Ugh.), but it had some great animation, solid takes on all the characters, and some interesting teases for future plots with the Norman/Otto stuff.

Yeah US is out shining Avengers...shame the first season was entertaining...Young Justice better watch out for US.

anyone watching Green Lantern? Was really excited for that, but can't get behind that animation style...
looking forward to checking Ultimate Spidey!

I thought Spidey was fun, but I cannot get behind surfer dude teenage Iron Fist. Same goes for Luke Cage. Why didn't they just use the new Power Man if they wanted him to be a teenager? The costume is that design anyway...

Mostly geek rage complaints. My kids and I enjoyed it.

I'll be interested to see Civil War get the animated treatment.

Urgh...I really hope this isn't like a Secret Invasion causing Civil War thing...
