Individually they were just like those guys who like to hang around the comic book shop and talk comics but together they form the Earth’s Mightiest Podcast!

Great show as usual, guys. So glad that this was one of the storylines that you covered because I recently tried to get through it and couldn't. The story itself was a bit confusing at times, but what killed my attempt at reading it was the characterization of the Avengers members, particularly Beast and Wonder Man. I liked the banter and rivalry between Cap and Iron Man, it added a lot of conflict early on in the story but it didn't give me enough to hang on and keep reading. As for Beast and Wonder Man, where the hell did this side of these characters come from? Beast was a buffoon who couldn't seem to get anything right and sometimes came at situations in a far too irrational manner. Wonder Man should have be branded Woe-Is-Me. He didn't have the confidence to change his own pampers when confronted by a single enemy. He came across as too much of a lame asshole for me to ever like the character, which thankfully they have changed and I can appreciate him now. It almost seems like these guys are written in the same manner Iceman was written circa the mid-2000's, hopelessly lost in his own underwhelming-ness and incompetence.

I'm happy to finally have a grasp on the whole Korvac thing after hearing about it for so long, having been a comic reader since the age of 8. I'm also grateful to you three for doing to hard work for me. I can really get into reading classic Marvel books usually, but this one got put down and went untouched for quite awhile. Looking forward to other hefty stories that may prove too daunting for me, Operation Galactic Storm maybe? Eh? Eh? Just a thought.
