Love Scottie Young's take on the whole event. Really makes the Avengers vs X-Men argument look like nothing more than a squabble between children.

Is that Storm zapping Black Panther? Apparently the honeymoon period is over.



Also love the below variant. With all the Marvel heroes battling themselves, the true winners, no matter the outcome, are the villains. Why Deadpool is sitting on the sidelines taking bets is beyond me, but I find it hilarious. Wouldn't 'pool be on the side of X? Or is he just soaking in the chaos of it.

Finally found a good use for those pouch bandoleers. Liefeld, take note.

After reading Zero a week ago, I FINALLY got a copy of issue one. Looking forward to digging into it.

I like this "event" so far. It's hard for me because I can see it from both sides.

Cyclopes see's Hope & the Phoenix Force as mutants only hope for survival so he want's to protect her & the Avengers did come there looking for a fight.

Cap see's her as Earth's biggest risk because we all know what the Phoenix can do. So of course he's going to do whatever it takes to prevent the Phoenix from destroying the Earth.

So it's tuff I don't think there is no right or wrong side in this. Should be interesting to see where Hope is going & see what the Phoenix does to Thor & the rest of the Avengers he has with him.

Question: AvX Versus-- Has the first issue dropped yet? I haven't seen it in the LCS the last couple of times I dropped in.

Looks like the original X-Men vs Avengers will be up on MDCU next week. May be worth a read and comparing?

Yeah, I'm kind of confused about how frequently and when this tie-in will be released. I want to check it out, though. I love a good story, but a full issue of fist meeting face sounds kind of fun as well.
