It's funny, I peeked through my old X-Factor after this episode. I had the VAGUEST memory of the whole alien even with the celestial. Clearly this time did not leave a great impression upon me, except I thought the ship needed to go (glad I wasn't alone).
I criticize writers for taking the easy way out with "aging up" a baby to make things easier (I believe Angel did this on the TV show as well) and Cable was no exception. It seems lazy. But after looking at these comics, it drags the story to a standstill and ANY action that puts the baby in danger seems ludicrous. It's not hard to have a teenager child who can take care of themselves, but a baby makes the story almost impossible to move forward.
