Episode #96New Mutants Forever #1-3 was both a disappointment and a waste of time.
For Brian,
Xenogenisis #3 sucked, and had the lame
Excalibur villain
Jaspers.Rob thinks
Wolverine #2 was stupid.
Yukio is awesome, and it sucks that she died in this "god-awful run." Brian thinks the shadowy guy could be Wolverine's father.
[In b]X-Men #4[/b], Rob thinks
Wolverine is faking vampirism. Brian feels that not only is he faking it, but he was sent on a mission by Cyclops to infiltrate the vampires. It does have nice art, so both had it as a borrow.
Brian thought
Uncanny X-Force #1 was good. Rob doesn't understand all the praise for this book. Rob doesn't like
Psylocke and Angel suddenly being together.
They chat with radio
Eddie. Eddie agrees girls dressing up in costume is hot, but it doesn't extend into role-playing.
In Retros, they loved this second
Brood saga (
Uncanny #232-234). Brian really loved that you can see teh start of
Maddie Pryor's transformation into the
Goblin Queen.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Episode 97They talk about the
Walking Dead show. They love it.
Rob and Brian have reversed on
Legacy #241. Brian had it as a pass, while Rob felt Indra and the kids were actually fleshed out.
In
Uncanny #529, the feral kid is their favorite of the five lights.
X-23 #2 was fine, except for it being a part of
Wolverine goes to Hell.
X-Factor #210 had good character development with no Madrox in sight. Rob feels the book had heart again. They address the criticism of their previous negativity of
Peter David. While justified before, they feel he has turned the corner now.
New Mutants #18 was great. Rob feels like the Inferno babies are the New Mutants' version of the Children. (That's a compliment) Doug finally has a good haircut, and both agree this book is fantastic.
On the
X-Phone, they chat with Kelly, who won a nationwide Hooter's costume contest as Kitty Pryde.

In
Retro Reviews, Rob actually liked
Excalibur #1. Brian is surprised, and thinks those goof feelings won't last long.
